PRESS RELEASE (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE)
Boinx FotoMagico wins O'Reilly Mac OS X Innovators Contest
Munich, Germany - Oct. 27th 2004. Only four weeks after the release of
Version 1.0, Boinx FotoMagico takes top honors in the Mac OS X
Innovators contest hosted by the prestigious publisher O'Reilly Media.
Version 1.0.1 became available the same day, fixing important issues
reported by customers and adding iDVD integration.
Great Team Effort
"Winning the First Place in such a high profile contest is certainly an
affirmation of the great work the team put into the software", says
Oliver Breidenbach, head of Boinx Software. Special recognition is due
for Peter Baumgartner, the mastermind developer behind Boinx FotoMagico
and for interface designer Florian Albrecht, both of whom spared no
effort to meet highest standards and tight deadlines.
Second Triumph in 2 Years
Boinx Software now won the contest for the second time running. In 2003,
Boinx's other flagship product, iStopMotion, received the First Place
honors. This year, the judges found it not easy task to pick the winner
among the large number of submissions of excellent applications.
FotoMagico stood out for finding a gap in the software offerings for
Photographers who want to present their digital images.
New Version available immediately
FotoMagico 1.0.1, a release fixing several important issues reported by
users all over the world and adding iDVD integration, is now available
